2018 predictions are rife so it was fascinating to see one published for 2030.
In 2030 human-to-machine (H2M) communication skills will become essential as will the need to be able to work with all forms of automation from AI to robotics. Candidates will have to demonstrate their practical experience of working with non-human colleagues.
As far as qualifications go multiple nano degrees will replace the traditional 3 year ones. Workers may also choose to augment or upgrade their minds and bodies so they can compete with their robotic counterparts.
What is clear is that people will need to constantly upskill either training in their own time or through the company. Claiming digital ignorance will no longer be an option.
