Looks like good news for American retailers as Halloween spending is set to reach record highs. I would have thought this would be a welcome distraction from the presidential election, but the scary thought that Trump could win seems to be a driving factor in sales predictions.

Trump costumes and wigs will be seen across America during Halloween. This is unsurprising - his supporters must tire of acting like zombies the rest of the year...

I am keeping everything crossed that seeing Trump used to scare children will actually wake his supporters up. While I am not that confident, maybe seeing his 'Make America Great Again' PR slogan plastered on  Halloween costumes will make people question whether his campaign should in fact be taken seriously...

Having worked as a sports betting consultant I keep an eye on the odds of Trump becoming President, and for the past week he has been the most popular bet with the British public. I don't need to wait for Halloween to be scared by that!!!
