This excerpt from PR Week indicates that many PR global leaders think that printed media will survive the digital revolution. I have just heard a conference session on the future which does not include smart phones, apps or even email. Instead the futurologists are predicting more virtual reality. Google glass has not been wholly successful but there is no doubt that wearable technology and information delivered by lense technology will be the reality. Does that fit with the views below.? We have seen the demise of one established newspaper and a new print publication, so the trend is not positive for the long term of print newspapers and I am not sure it vindicates the survey findings.
